Listed here are projects that involve technologies for collecting spatial and temporal data, the two main ingredients in Reality Capture. Using tools such as 3D scanners and motion capture equipment, we can take a more forensic approach at exploring places, things and the way we move and interact with them. These efforts are currently be carried out at the University of Virginia Library. The UVA Library has legacy of collaboration with students, faculty and staff to provide opportunities for building and visualizing 3D content for higher level education. The Library is an agency of knowledge with constituents that hail from all departments and fields at the University providing a diversity of academic and scholarly endeavors in which to engage.
