August 16, 11:30AM-1:00PM
Co-create UVa hosted a student-faculty luncheon at the 2016-17 New Faculty Orientation! The event was an amazing success with over fifty student sign-ups and some faculty said it was their favorite workshop in their orientation. Students shared personal experiences and ideas about pedagogy with the new faculty and got excited for the upcoming semester. The luncheon produced over eighty ideas about utilizing students as valuable resources in the classroom and faculty left with concrete action steps to start co-creating their classrooms!
