Congratulations to Erica on receiving NSF Graduate Fellowship!
Our Graduate Student, Erica Loudermilk has been recognized with the Graduate Research Fellowship of the National Science Foundation. She will receive an honorarium of $12,000 to be placed towards tuition and also an annual stipend of $34,000 for three years. This makes two recipients of this fellowship in our group, apart from Kassie Grimes. Congratulations Erica!
Udayan receives the William L. Ballard Jr. Fellowship
Graduate student Udayan Singh has been selected for the William L. Ballard Jr. Endowed Graduate Fellowship by the School of Engineering and Applied Science! This fellowship honors graduate students in Engineering who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership qualities, and financial need, and will be instrumental in supporting Udayan’s work on navigating cleaner energy futures.
Erica receives third prize at the CPRC-SETAC Annual Meeting!
At the CPRC SETAC Annual Meeting in Caanan Valley, WV, Erica received the third place in the poster competition! She showcased her ongoing work on the evaluation of an algae-mediated treatment in mitigating antibiotic resistance in wastewater treatment plant effluents. Congratulations!
