The Virginia Women’s Chorus is committed to excellence in the performance of classical, contemporary and diverse music from the challenging choral literature for women’s voices. The Chorus seeks to inspire and enrich others through the choral art form.
The chorus is unique in that it is a completely student run organization affiliated with the University of Virginia music department; it is comprised of students from all years and majors.

ANNUAL SPRING CONCERT
The 37th annual Spring Concert of the Virginia Women’s Chorus affiliated with the McIntire Department of Music at the University of Virginia is set for Saturday, April 9, at 3:30 p.m. at Old Cabell Hall on Grounds at UVa.
The Virginia Women’s Chorus was the first women’s chorus ever of its kind at UVa. It was founded in 1974 shortly after the first women had just been accepted to the University.
Admission : Adults – $15. Students – $5.
