This blog is a resource for students in my online nutrition course for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Virginia. Everyone is welcome to read this blog, however. After all, all of us will be interested in healthy aging eventually – if we are lucky!

My favorite course during ten years of teaching at Judson College in Marion, Alabama, was BIO 204 – Biochemical Nutrition, and a highlight each year was the Nutrition Dinner at the end of the course.
I now live in Charlottesville and offer an online course, Nutrition – Concepts and Controversies, for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Virginia. I am continuing this blog to support that course and, to be honest, just for fun.
