I’m an Associate Professor in the Philosophy Department at UVA.
My main research interest is early modern philosophy. I’m currently finishing a book about Locke’s account of moral agency. Locke’s Moral Man will be out with Oxford some time in 2012.
Previously, I published a book about Gassendi and a number of papers.
I’m also editing a collection of essays, Debates in Modern Philosophy, with Stewart Duncan.
